KIM SEONG-HAN received his master's degree from the University of Manchester of England. He has held posts as editor-in-chief of monthly magazine Sasanggye and editor, managing editor, then later chief editor of Dong-A Ilbo newspaper. Kim is the first recipient ever of the Dong-In Literary Award and has received several other awards, including the Asia Literary Award, Inchon Award, Korean National Culture and Arts Award, and the Art Academy Award. He is a living witness to the Korean literary world.
